Hair CareDo It Yourself With a
couple of very talented cosmetologists in my extended family, I had to
think If cutting or coloring your own
hair isn't an option you want to consider, and those pricey appointments
are starting to make you think this is an expense you could do without,
shop around for a reasonable stylist. Many
times people will return to the same stylist out of habit. Even if
they don't always love the cut or color, they don't want to hurt the
stylist's feelings by going elsewhere. Shop around! Some of
the least expensive salons can have some very talented
stylists.
Hot Oil Treatment- Heat up half a cup or more of olive oil in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. The oil should be nice and warm. - Apply to clean and completely DRY HAIR. Massage in well. -Wrap your hair in cling wrap and apply heat with your hair blower as evenly as possible. After you've warmed the wrap, let the oil on for 30 minutes or longer. Shampoo afterwards, but no need to condition.
DetanglerA really inexpensive detangler for those with long hair is one part inexpensive hair conditioner, like Suave, to 9 parts water. Mix in a squirt bottle and detangle away! You can adjust according to your own hair, but this works very well and is very cost effective! Vinegar Hair Rinse This is a great inexpensive rinse that will leave your hair shiney and soft. It's my understanding that the vinegar helps restore proper PH levels and that's why it works so well. I just know it works! 1/2 cup apple cider
vinegar 1 quart water Mix these two ingredients and rinse your hair with it as a final rinse after washing your hair. The smell of the vinegar goes away quickly. This is a wonderful rinse!
